In the Mackinaw Harvest studio with Mid-Life Crisis

Coming soon: Mackinaw Harvest studio will be bringing you the best Mid-Life Crisis you’ve ever had! Revue’s Lindsay Patton headed out to the studio to get a word from the owner and the band, as well as get an inside look at the recording process. Check out the video for interviews.

Mackinaw Harvest studio, completed in 2007, is located in downtown Grand Rapids. It emits a cozy and relaxing atmosphere with its soothing fireplace and log cabin style. Studio owner and music kernel, Michael Crittenden, is a producing master, as well as a founding member of the band Troll for Trout. With great esthetics and company, it’s no wonder than Mid-Life Crisis chose this as the birthing place for their new album.

Mid-Life Crisis, a 8-piece ensemble, brings to the mic diverse sounds featuring keyboard, guitar, drums, and a full horn set. They are currently recording their unnamed second album to follow their first album It’s All Good. Your next chance to catch them onstage is this Sunday, April 26 for the Feedback Benefit 2009 at Founder’s Brewery at 4pm.
